A Sierra Nevada turquoise ring, handcrafted in my Nashville area studio. The turquoise ring band is 10.3mm wide. I engraved feathers around the outside. Inside, I engraved a beloved quote from The Lord of the Rings: Not all those who wander are lost. The American mined stone is 15.6 carats of top quality material. It has been Zachary treated, to prevent color changes to the stone. The setting measures 18mm wide x 22mm tall, not included the decorative edge. The dark matrix reminds me of a piece of earth on a map, complete with surrounding blue oceans. I knew immediately that I wanted to use this stone with a Tolkien quote. Solid sterling silver. Fabricated by hand, entirely. The set was given a patina, and then hand polished to a rustic glow. US size 9.5, but will fit like a size 9 due to the band with. Ready to ship.
