This gorgeously handcrafted Khukuri was forged by EGKH in Nepal; robustly crafted with a blade of tough and well tempered 5160 high carbon steel, the Khukuri is fully functional and capable of delivering fierce cuts and chops. Among its detailing and embellishment the blade has five fullers expertly ground into each side of the blade. Its five fullers lighten the blade without sacrificing structural strength, while also giving it a distinctive, traditional aesthetic. The thick spine and forward bias concentrate mass toward the blade’s leading third, allowing this compact khukuri to bite deeply into wood, brush, and cutting targets with impressive authority for its size. Built on a full-tang foundation, the knife features polished bone and hardwood grip scales that are solidly riveted to the tang for a very solid hilt construction. The grip measures just under 4.25 inches, offering a secure, purposeful hold ideal for one-handed control during chopping, carving, or general field tasks. Included with the knife is a traditional wood-core scabbard wrapped in stitched leather and finished with a polished metal chape.
